Carpenter is entered to drive the No. 03 Vision Racing LLC Porsche Crawford in the 2008 Rolex 24 At Daytona.
Personal
Carpenter is married to Heather and the two have one daughter, Makenna. He is the stepson of Indianapolis Motor Speedway owner Tony George. He is a graduate of Butler University with a degree in Marketing. His racing heroes include A.J. Foyt and Lance Armstrong.
