Biography

Aschenbach is expected to compete fulltime in the 2010 GRAND-AM Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge with Compass360 Racing and co-driver David Thilenius.

Personal

Aschenbach enjoys training, golf, football, soccer, dogs and music. He also loves to travel and drive shifter karts when not racing. Aschenbach is a graduate of Vanderbilt University, where he majored in engineering science and mathematics.

Returned to Street Tuner competition for six races, winning Fresh From Florida 200 at Daytona International Speedway and taking five top 10s in six starts with co-driver Pat Iannucci at Georgian Bay Motorsports.

2008
Won twice (Iowa Speedway, Virginia International Raceway) in ST action, driving for Georgian Bay.

2007
Made debut at Daytona International Speedway in Grand Sport class, finishing ninth driving for Marcus Motorsports in a Porsche 997.

Contested four Rolex Sports Car Series GT races, earning two top 10s with best finish of ninth driving for PR1 Motorsports.

2008
Competed in nine Rolex Series GT races, with best finish of fourth twice.

2007
Competed in three Rolex Series GT class races with best finish of 15th. Raced for Team Cadillac in SCCA World Challenge, helping claim manufacturer title with a win and six podium finishes. Also claimed third in SCCA WC driver points.

2006
Won SCCA World Challenge driving championship and Rookie of the Year honors with Porsche.

2002
Won Indy Oval Crown Championship in Formula Ford Zetec.

2001
Earned SCCA Southeast National Formula Ford title.

Early Career
Won numerous WKA karting titles, including National championship, and is a four-time winner of WKA Grand National title. Also claimed North American Karting crown.
