Team Overview:
  • Wayne Taylor Racing (WTR) was established prior to the outset of the 2007 GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series season to continue campaigning the No. 10 SunTrust Daytona Prototype that joined the series in 2004 and won the championship in 2005. With team-owner and three-time sports-car-racing champion Wayne Taylor at the helm, anchor co-driver Max Angelelli has netted 21 victories and 62 podium finishes from 2004 through the 2012 campaign. WTR welcomed new primary sponsor Velocity Worldwide for the 2013 season, as well as Taylor’s 21-year-old son Jordan Taylor as Angelelli’s co-driver.
