MOMO/NGT Motorsport
Team Overview:
  • NGT Motorsport was founded in 2003 by Ramez Wahab and has been the leading Porsche race team in the IMSA GT3 Cup Challenge ever since. NGT clinched the Team and Driver IMSA GT3 Championships in 2011 and 2010 with 19 wins, over 50 podium finishes and 8 track records. NGT also participated very successfully in selected ALMS GTC races in 2011 and 2012. Having entered 7 ALMS races, NGT has a recent win at the 2012 Petit Le Mans, 4 podiums, 2 pole positions and 1 qualifying lap record.

Thanks to NGT's close relationship with Porsche Motorsport North America, the team will be able to field a strong driver lineup for the 2013 Rolex 24 at Daytona. Porsche factory driver Patrick Pilet, will share the No. 30 MOMO sponsored NGT Porsche with 2011 Porsche Carrera Cup Vice-Champion Sean Edwards, 2010 and 2011 IMSA GT3 Cup Challenge Champion Henrique Cisneros and 22-year-old Kuba Giermaziak, a three-year Porsche Supercar standout, finishing 3rd in 2011 Supercup Championship and who previously partnered with Cisneros in the 2012 ALMS Petit Le Mans race for a GTC class victory.

NGT Motorsport is extremely proud to announce for the second consecutive year that MOMO will be the main sponsor for the No. 30 Porsche 997 GT3 Cup entry in the 51st running of the Rolex 24 at Daytona. The MOMO brand is closely associated with the great history of the 24 hours of Daytona, having achieved an overall victory back in 1998.
